Sobre Palavras brings together the composer/instrumentalist Chico Saraiva, singer Verônica Ferriani and songwriter Mauro Aguiar, other than special guests like Chico César, Carlos Malta, Toninho Ferragutti, Marcelo Pretto e Pepe Cisneiros. It is a group work: the artistic result of a strong character singer, a composer–arranger– instrumentalist and a surprisingly contemporary instrumentalist. The CD has won the Pixinguinha prize in 2009 given by the Brazilian Minister of Culture.
