Music is a fundamental part of Brazilian cultural essence.

It is the result of a real and intense mixture of people, races and religions, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

In Brazil, just as Indians mixed themselves with Europeans, and those with Africans and Asians, erudite music combined itself with African rhythms, with the Portuguese “fado”, Indian canticles and jazz.

For those and other reasons, Brazilian music is probably more global than any other on the planet. It is as diverse as magic...

Borandá’s mission is to take that diversity and magic back to all the places of the world that somehow originated it, and beyond. Even inside Brazil, where our music yearns a rediscovery.

Through the new “360 degrees record label” concept, where artist and music are in the center, Borandá acts on all of the music business branches, as record label, management & booking agency, promoter and publisher, using the internet as an important tool to connect artists with their public in Brazil and throughout the world.
